In "Beyond the Law" (AT), Xavi and Fina investigate a problem neighborhood where an ex-gang member is found dead. They become immersed in a web of blackmail and rivalry. In "Burning Land" (AT), a water company's lawyer is found dead on a golf course in the middle of a relentless drought. Xavi and Fina uncover the machinations that the murdered man was trying to uncover.
